Heather joined One Cross Community Health and Wellness in January 2025 as a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree with a specialization in psychiatric-mental health from Walden University in 2024. Heather has been serving in the nursing profession since 2012, beginning as a nursing assistant, then as a registered nurse in 2020, and now as a nurse practitioner.

Heather believes that her work is a calling, and she feels deeply blessed by the Lord with the ability to listen, understand, and care for others. Faith is at the heart of her practice, and she is passionate about providing holistic care that supports the emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being of every individual. She is committed to encouraging each patient to become the healthiest and most authentic version of themselves.

Outside of her professional role, Heather values spending quality time with her husband, their two sons, and their extended family and friends. She and her family find comfort and strength in strong community connections, which played a significant role in her decision to join One Cross Community Health & Wellness. Being part of an organization that shares her values of compassion, faith, and service allows Heather to live out her calling both personally and professionally.
