Hope for the Heartland Network is a network of faith leaders in the community of Campbellsville that have come together to address the opioid crisis in the community from a faith perspective. One Cross Clinic spearheaded the creation of the network and has donated to date over $6,000 in supplies and training to the network. One Cross Clinic Campbellsville is interested in supporting a faith-based perspective in healing the hopelessness and brokenness that is happening to the families of the community. One of the ways that One Cross Clinic Campbellsville is helping to create long lasting solution for the crisis in our community is to train up leaders in the community to lead Celebrate Recovery in their Churches. Kim and Larry Johnson Owners of One Cross Clinic Campbellsville have dedicated hours to the mission of helping churches develop Celebrate Recovery Programs in their churches. The hope is to have a Celebrate Recovery going on in the community every night of the week. What we love about Celebrate Recovery is that it is for any person dealing with a hurt, habit, or hang-up that is not beneficial to them. It is a program that is not just centered around addiction. It is also for the person struggling with anger, codependency, eating disorders, sexual addiction, marital problems ect.
The most exciting thing about the program is it is for total family healing.
Celebrate Recovery has programs to help the teen and young children of those adults suffering from hurts, habits, or hang-ups. One Cross Clinic Campbellsville has always had a heart to develop curriculum to proactively identify, empower, and guide high risk youth away from addictive behaviors. We aren’t willing to let young people in our community drift into easy paths to bad choices. Instead we want to introduce them to coping mechanisms and the love of Christ long before they are confronted with these situations. By equipping our youth with the tools to boldly confront their past and deal with their unique struggles in the present, they will be empowered to make the right choices in the future.
The Landing is Celebrate Recovery’s student ministry geared towards Junior High and High School age students. The curriculum is designed to mirror the same material as the adult Celebrate Recovery curriculum, only packaged for students. The landing exists to provide safe place for our students to process life and the struggles that accompany it, providing tools to help them live emotionally and spiritually healthy lives, and to point them towards the freedom found in Jesus Christ.
Celebration Place is the Children’s Curriculum for Celebrate Recovery ministries for Children ages 5-13 years of age. This Christ-Centered curriculum mirrors the lessons taught in Large Group for adults. We refer to it as Pre-Covary program We strive to partner with parents to help break the cycle of dysfunction destroying so many of our families. Through Celebration Place children experience the love of Jesus as they learn how to love themselves and others while they grow in their own relationships with God. They also learn healthy coping skills for life’s tough issues.
